Luz de la Luna Services offers supportive, strength-based peer counseling and compassionate parent education tailored to your unique needs. We specialize in a variety of areas, including mental health, special education/early intervention, birth and postpartum wellness planning, and child development.
Our services also include expert guidance in resource and referral navigation, with a dedicated focus on LGBTQIA+ parents, Latinx/Spanish-speaking families, immigrant parents, and survivors of trauma. We’re here to empower you with the resources and support you deserve on your parenting journey.
As an LGBTQ+ survivor parent myself, I understand how important it is to find a supportive, inclusive community. I offer a safe space for LGBTQ+ parents to connect, share experiences, and seek guidance in building strong, healthy relationships with healthcare providers and other parents.
Through peer counseling, I offer a safe, flexible space where you can access support that works for you. Whether you need guidance with goal planning, a compassionate ear to vent your frustrations, or just a place to clear your mind, The beauty of peer counseling—there’s no rigid structure. We can connect virtually, by phone, or even by text, at times that fit into your life.
What I Offer:
Weekly/Biweekly Peer Support Sessions: These sessions provide a safe, judgment-free space for you to express your feelings, share your experiences, and work through any challenges you may be facing. Together, we can explore ways to cope with trauma, create meaningful connections, and foster a deeper understanding of your identity as a parent.
Virtual Support: I offer virtual support via text, available 24/7 Sometimes you need a quick message or someone to check in with during moments of stress. Whether you need advice, a listening ear, or a reminder that you are not alone, I’m just a message away.
Resource/Referral Support Session: Parenting while navigating LGBTQ+ identity can bring up a range of questions, from seeking resources for mental health to accessing community groups or support networks. In this session, I will help connect you with valuable resources, organizations, and referrals that are relevant to your needs and goals, providing you with tangible tools to move forward.
This isn’t therapy it’s a partnership. You have the freedom to use the space in whatever way feels most supportive for you. Parenting doesn’t have to be a solo journey, and I’m here to walk beside you. You don’t have to do this alone.
