Year-Round Sponsorship Programs
PAB is a year-round, grassroots force for connection and equity. From vibrant community events and accessible education to policy advocacy and the Eastside’s largest Pride celebration, we work every day to build connection, visibility, and safety for our 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Whether your values align with health equity, public art, trans empowerment, or supporting queer-owned businesses, there’s a way to make a meaningful impact here.
Founded in 2023, Pride Across the Bridge (PAB) fills critical gaps in support for East King County’s queer community. Even a bridge away from Seattle, our local queer community lives under a false and damaging narrative that if we need connection, medical care, education, or community, we need to go into Seattle.
No one should be told to leave their community to find their community or care.
We do this through:
- Equitable Healthcare & Education Access
- Unique Connective Events
- Support for Queer-Owned Businesses
- Visibility & Civic Art
- Community Education & Policy Engagement
Equitable Healthcare & Education Access

PAB creates and maintains The Big Book of All Things Queer – an up-to-date living Eastside-focused resource guide of vetted, affirming medical providers, legal help, educational materials, local tailors, and more. It is an essential community-trusted tool relied on by not only the queer and trans community, but family, friends, allies, and medical providers across the region. This multilingual resource is available both as a printable book and a fully accessible online document. It removes the guesswork of seeking safe and competent care, a task that, when met with chosen bias or ignorance, often results in real harm: emotional, physical, and financial. Every individual, group, provider, and resource, is personally vetted to make sure that no matter who you are, you are met with educated and compassionate care.
PAB hosts and partners to put on hundreds of programs each year, offering a wide variety of spaces that bring queer communities together across ages, identities, cultures, and lived experiences. These events prioritize joy, healing, visibility, and belonging. What sets our programming apart is that each event is community-inspired; we listen first, and our programming is built directly from the needs, and dreams shared by those we serve. Some events happen just once, others recur monthly, biweekly, or seasonally, creating meaningful rhythms of connection close to home. Events range from queer D&D game nights to figure drawing workshops, elder breakfasts to trans swim events, and each one is adaptive and intentionally designed to welcome attendees into a space where their full selves can be fueled. These region-first events not only affirm identity, they foster connection, reduce isolation, and build the kind of joyful community infrastructure that lasts.
Unique Connective Events

Support for Queer-Owned Businesses

PAB hosts the Eastside’s only Queer-Owned Business Directory, spotlighting the incredible work of queer creators, performers, and service providers throughout East King County. Our Directory helps shift the narrative, recognizing that queer performers and creatives are business owners, and deserve to be elevated and supported as such. Unlike many regional directories, ours welcomes businesses regardless of whether they have a physical storefront, removing a common barrier to connection and visibility. This ensures the Directory reflects the full spectrum of how queer community members contribute to the local economy and culture. It’s more than a list, it’s a tool for connection, representation, and economic empowerment.
PAB has spearheaded some of the Eastside’s most visible public art milestones, turning promises of inclusion into year-round symbols of queer presence. From rainbow crosswalks in Redmond to ribbon-weaving installations in Duvall and Redmond, our work ensures that queer visibility is woven into the everyday fabric of our cities. We collaborate with city leaders and local businesses, advocating for meaningful community input to shape these installations. Redmond’s Let The Sunshine In crosswalk, emerged directly from conversations with queer residents about the message they wanted to send. And How Far We’ve Come in Duvall not only catalyzed long-overdue conversations, but also influenced city policy and empowered residents, parents, and business owners to speak up in valley-changing ways. Whether on city streets or the walls of City Hall, collective visibility reminds the community that queer people, and queer joy, have always been here, and we always will be.

Community Education & Policy Engagement

We work with local cities, county leaders, and state officials to push for policies and legislation that actively protect, recognize, and uplift the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This includes shaping and co-authoring proclamations and resolutions, organizing public panels, and serving as a vital bridge between queer residents and local government. We bring lived experience to the table, calling for accountability to a community who has only recently begun to be served in this region, helping create historic moments like Washington’s first Trans Day of Visibility proclamation. We show up to ensure queer voices are not only heard, but are centered in conversations that impact our safety, dignity, and rights. Through education, advocacy, and collaboration, we help leaders move from performative gestures to tangible, equity-driven action. Our work transforms policy into protection, and intention into accountability.
